The short version. We're two people renting three houses in Muncie. We hold the minimum we need to let you into a property and host your stay. We don't sell it, we don't share mobile numbers or messages with anyone for marketing, and we never see your card details.

Who we are

Yellow Bravo LLC, Muncie, Indiana. Reach us any time at info@yellowbravo.com. This policy covers this website, our guest texting, and the properties we host.

What we collect

From your reservation

Bookings come through platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and Evolve. They pass us what we need to host: your name, arrival and departure dates, guest count, and a contact number for the stay. We take what they give us — we don't ask them for extra personal detail, and under current platform rules we can't ask you for your phone number, email or home address ourselves.

From texting

We keep the number we message you on and the messages themselves. That's what makes the conversation coherent and lets us show which access details went out for which stay. See the SMS terms for how the texting works.

From the lock

The short-stay property uses a smart lock. It records which code was used and when, including failed attempts. We use this to confirm a code is working before you arrive and to help when one isn't.

From this website

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies. Our host keeps standard server access logs. The page pulls icon fonts from a public CDN, which means that provider sees the request.

What we never hold

Card numbers. Payments run through the booking platforms or through Stripe. We see that a payment succeeded and for what. We never receive or store card details. We also don't keep copies of ID documents.

Why we hold it

  • To get you into the property and host the stay.
  • To answer you when you contact us.
  • To offer optional extras for your own stay — only to someone holding a confirmed booking, and only about that booking.
  • To keep the records a small business has to keep: bookings, payments, tax, and proof of what access details were sent.

We don't build profiles, we don't do behavioural advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

Only the services that actually run the stay, and only the part each one needs:

  • The booking platform you used and our management partner, Evolve — they already hold your reservation.
  • Stripe — if you buy an optional extra directly from us, for processing that payment.
  • Our messaging and lock providers — to deliver a text or put a code on a lock.
  • Our accountant, and authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or text message content with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Texts and lock logs for about a year after checkout, so we can answer questions about a past stay. Booking and payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require, currently seven years. If you reply STOP, we keep a note of that so we don't text you again — honouring an opt-out means remembering it.

Keeping it safe

Access is limited to the two of us. Credentials live in a password manager, keys are kept out of shared places, and the services we use are mainstream providers with their own security programmes. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we hold little, which is the best protection available to a company this size.

Your choices

  • Stop the texts — reply STOP. It won't affect your booking.
  • Ask what we hold about you, and we'll tell you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it — we'll do it unless we have to keep it for tax or legal reasons, and we'll say which.
  • Reservation data held by the platform you booked through is governed by their policy, so that request goes to them.

Email info@yellowbravo.comand we'll get back to you. There's no form and no ticket number — it's one of us reading it.

Children

Our properties are booked by adults and this site isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top when this changes. The version on this page is always current.
